About the role

We are looking for a Senior SQA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, API testing, regression testing, and quality assurance processes, with the ability to work closely with development and project teams.

What you will do

  • - Analyze business and technical requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • - Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • - Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs throughout the development lifecycle.
  • - Collaborate with developers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
  • - Perform API testing using relevant testing tools.
  • - Conduct web, cross-browser, responsive, compatibility, and usability testing.
  • - Participate in requirement and planning discussions and provide QA insights.
  • - Perform testing across different environments and ensure application stability before releases.
  • - Maintain accurate test documentation, defect reports, and QA reports.
  • - Conduct database testing and validate data using SQL queries where required.
  • - Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and overall software quality.
  • - Support and participate in test automation initiatives where applicable.
  • - Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards and requirements.

What we are looking for

  • - 3–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
  • - Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • - Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design.
  • - Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
  • - Experience with Jira or similar project/bug tracking tools.
  • - Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
  • - Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.
  • - Knowledge of automation testing tools/frameworks is a plus.
  • - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • - Excellent attention to detail.
  • - Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
